Hi @SF55,

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

This is a great place to get support, find answers

I understand that you are getting an error on the printer screen.

No worries, I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

How is the printer connected to your computer? (USB or wireless)

Are you facing this issue after an update?

The issue you are facing seems to be a firmware issue on the printer.

Let's try to update the firmware on the printer.

Please connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.

Download the firmware for your printer from www.hp.com/drivers and enter the product number of your printer to find the right firmware update on our website.

Run the firmware update and it should fix the issue.

If the issue persists, please contact our phone support for the upgrade or the service options available for your printer.

Let me know how it goes.

Please click ‘Accepted Solution’ on the post that solves your issue to help others find the solution. To show appreciation for my help, please click the ‘Thumbs Up’ Icon below.

Just tried your solution.  Thought I had it working, but moved the printer back to its regular location, and got the same error message.

Also just unplugged the printer again and just plugged back in - new error message - OXB049F354

Hey there! @Edmondo, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you are getting reflash 12345 error on your printer screen.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

What is the firmware version on your printer?

Please share the operating system you are running on your PC to assist you better.

Try updating the printer firmware and check if it helps.

Update the printer firmware using this link. Click Here

Try performing a hard reset on your printer and check if it helps.

In some cases, removing the ink cartridges and resetting the printer can clear the error message.
Turn on the printer.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.
Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
   NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.
If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
If you disconnected the USB cable, reconnect it to the rear of the printer.
Try to print.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps try performing a semi-full reset on your printer and check if it helps.

Since the steps to perform a semi-full reset on your printer is confidential I will send you the steps in a private message, please watch your inbox for more information.

Let me know if this works!

Have a great day ahead! 🙂
