Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have not been able to update our printer firmware for over a year.  It keeps trying to download the most recent driver and firmware, and we keep getting an error message simply stating it cannot do it. The printer if functional, but this update keeps trying to run (which interrupts jobs from time to time,) and obviously, we'd like to have the up-to-date software. For reference, the Model name is HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 All-in-One and the Model number is 6970. Any help would be appreciated.
