Seems I’ve having the same issue, the message says that the new driver does not have any updates and consequently doesn’t load.

I think that HP Support needs to stop trying to solve this as individual issues. It is clear from the number of reports that this is a problem with a bad download files, or HP server capacity issues. I used to work for HP. You need to get this escalated to Printer Engineering.

The printer says it can't download and install this update but that is likely because it is already installed. When I look at the printer information is says MALBECPP1N001.2243A.00 is installed but that is the one it wants to install. How can I update the printer to reflect that it is installed or can I delete the update and try to re-install.

Another one here with the danger problem.

My printer has firmware version MALBECPP1NOO1.2243A.00 installed also

Doesn't work because everything is up-to-date with latest drivers and firmware.

I am also on firmware version MALBECPP1N001.2243A.00.  My printer is also continually seeking an update but giving a message of failed download.  I operate iOS Ventura 13.3.1 (a).

HP  can you please provide a fix?

My OfficeJet Pro 8024, has been doing this for the past 2 days, it keeps trying to download the update, but everytime it tries to, it just stays at 0% and then says download failed, I've tried via WIFI, entered the WiFi password again, tried changing the DNS, nothing has worked. Even tried downloading in the middle of the night. HP fix your files, or servers.

I have tried loading it from the printer, from HP Smart and from the PC and no difference. All of these "solutions" from HP all seem to ignore the problem which is that the printer already has this update installed and so will not allow the same update to be installed. Most of the time the update from all of these different solutions stays at 0% for ever until I cancel it. Occasionally it goes to 100% (don't know why) but the printer still says it can't install the update. Very frustrating.

HP have obviously changed something recently. They need to undo or fix whatever they changed!

Same issue for me.
