HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe was working fine on Windows 11 but not anymore. Clicking on the file, nothing happen (no error-message, no prompt, software don't start).
What I have done so far:
1) Uninstall all HP Drivers/Software, and install again after a reboot
2) Add HP Officejet Pro 8600.exe to the exception-list of Avira Security
3) Uninstall Avira Security and use Windows Defender and Windows Firewall
Additional information:
1) Printer can be found in the network
2) It is possible to print
3) it is possible to scan from the printer to the computer
4) It is possible to scan through HPScan.exe
5) No Errors-found with the HP Print and Scan Doctor Software.
My guess what the problem causes:
1) A Windows-Service is not running or causes a conflict
2) Adapter issue
3) Incopatible HP Driver after a certain Windows Update-Built
Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are getting a driver issue while printing, I am glad to assist you.
Did you uninstall the printer driver from the root level before installing the new driver?
If not, follow these steps:-
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
