Hi,
The printer, after a partial reset (that was suggested for a "damaged cartridge" error) is now stuck:
As soon as the printer is turned ON the display shows an error about a damaged cartridge, but when the door is opened, the carriage doesn't move, preventing the replacement of the cartridge.
I'm not able to pass the error screen.
I'm not able to update the firmware.
It seems that many similar situations happen with this type of printer but no solution has been answered by HP apparently.
Thanks for any help

2. Clean the Cartridge and Printhead Contacts:

- Open the cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to stop moving.
- Locate the cartridges and the printhead.
- Press the tab on each cartridge to release it from the slot.
- Hold the cartridge by its sides with the bottom pointing up to locate the electrical contacts.
- Wipe the cartridge contacts using a dry, lint-free cloth.
- Clean the printhead contacts in the printer.
- Reinsert the cartridges into their corresponding slots.

3. Firmware Update:
Updating the firmware may resolve various errors and improve overall performance.
