I just upgraded my OS on my iMac from Mojave to Catalina.  Since then, I can't get my scanner to work, although the printer and copier are still working fine.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

 As I understand, you are unable to scan after upgrading to macOS Catalina. Don't worry, I'd be happy to help. 

 

I'd suggest you try scanning using the Apple Image Capture. Refer to "Scan with Apple Image Capture" from this document

Yes, thank you I saw this work around and replied a couple of weeks ago.  It works for now, but it is a  work around and I am waiting for HP and Apple to get a fix for the issue that works more directly for HP Scan. Thanks!
