I have my new HP laptop wirelessly synched with my HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer. I have printed a document. However on my old computer I could automatically print on both sides. Now my only option is to manually reload the document. How do I regain the automatic version?

Hi @Bigtex52,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I understand that you are unable to print both sides automatically.
This could be a compatibility issue, with your current OS.
Update the drivers and firmware if there are any changes made to the software. Click here
To enable this feature, you can follow these steps:
Windows:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Click on File, then Print.
- Select your HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer.
- Click on Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Look for the Printing Shortcuts tab.
- Select Two-sided (Duplex) Printing or Print on Both Sides.
- Click OK, and then Print.
macOS:
- Open the document you want to print.
- Click on File, then Print.
- Select your HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer.
- Click on Show Details if necessary.
- Under Layout, select Two-Sided.
- Choose Long-Edge binding or Short-Edge binding, depending on your preference.
- Click Print.
Make sure that the duplex printing option is enabled in the printer settings and that you have enough paper loaded in the tray.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
