HP Officejet Pro 8710

I have had my Officejet  8710 for a while now.

I could never get it to work with HP Smart website or e-print. I currently have 5 other printers connected and working to my HP Smart account so it narrows it down to an issue with this printer specifically.

I take and enter the Claim Code and HP Sm rt will return with the printer's info. But when I first tried a year or so ago I would get the green light and still if I used the smart app or email a print job to it it would not work.

Now when I goto the smart sight the indicator light is always red. I have disabled webservices and reenabled and same thing.  I just disabled and reenabled my eprint info page printed. But now the web app is stuck on Web Services settings.. I have checked the I have read and accepted box and have the Alert me when updates are available chosen. I click next at bottom right and get a checking for server connection and web update dialogue box that goes away and then a enabling Web Services Dialogue box that also then goes away but the page stays on the same page and does not go to the next page..

What is going on here. I can keep clicking next and I will get the same two dialogue windows but it does not move on to the next page.

@ShutechIT, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you are not able to use this printer via the HP Smart app

Have you tried reinstalling the HP smart app?

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue

Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.

If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Perform the steps mentioned in this document - Cannot Connect to Web Services

Let me know how it goes.
