I continue to have problems with the driver installation for our Officejet Pro 9015 printer.
I have exhausted all the troubleshooting guides and am seeking help from the community. I've tried the Doctor, the Basic, the full web package drivers/application, and numerous other guides with no result. I've deactivated firewalls, attempted connection via ethernet, wireless, and usb - and i always have the same result.
When the printer/driver has been installed (via any of the HP applications), it works as a scanner and a fax machine, but does NOT work as a printer. Reviewing the Printers and Scanners windows page, the printer shows up as an Officejet Pro 9010 series correctly, but beneath it, it says "driver is unavailable". The printer does NOT show up under any application I'd print from (Word, PPT, etc.).
When Managing the device, the driver that shows up is from 6/1/2006 - and is published by Microsoft.
From the HP Smart application, no matter what action i've taken, when attempting to print (even a test page), it doesn't allow me to print and tells me... again... that the printer hasn't been installed correctly and to reinstall it.
I've attempted to manually add the printer, but i cannot identify the driver location. (Downloading JUST the drivers from HP unzips them into an undisclosed location and doesn't tell you the filenames... or i could have attempted manual association).
Can anyone provide ONLY the drivers (not packed up in an application) so that I may attempt a manual install?
Any other suggestions to correct this would be most appreciated!

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the HP Smart App?
If the issue still persists, let's do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:
Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
15.) Restart the computer.
Once done, please download and install the software from here:

HP Officejet Pro 9015. Printer is connected to my home network. I can print from an Ipad, can email files to it to print. Also, the scan function works fine. Just can't print from my computer to the printer.

Let's create a TCP IP port
1. Print a Configuration Page to get the printer's IPv4 address (you can also tap on the wireless icon on the front panel of your Printer to get the IP address)
2. On your PC, go to Control Panel, from Devices and Printers, right-click the printer and left-click Printer Properties, select the Ports tab.
3. Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, then select New Port and follow the wizard.
4. Type in the proper IP address for the printer.
This video resource will show you how to do it:
