HP PSC 1210v Installs Printer Automatically But NOT Scanner - Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit PCs

This Printer should have a shortcut on the Desktop to allow electronic scans to be saved. There is none. It will only print. The Printer Software is not listed in Programs and Features or under the Start>Programs list. I need to create electronic copies of scans. It installed the Printer automatically via USB Port.  Windows Update then installed updated software. HPEasyStart_12_8_9.exe detects it but finds no additional software. Thanks, OUgrad

This is an older model and moreover the OS as well is an older version

The Full Feature Software is no longer available for this printer
