Hello, I just purchased this old printer but I'm not able to set it up/connect to the PC.
When I connect it via the USB cable, windows 10 instantly installs HP PSC 900s driver, but the device itself is stuck as "udentified device". I tried HP Smart, HP Doctor. But they direct you to the HP Driver website which just tells you that you should let Windows 10 Update take care of your drivers, lol.
I've tried to look for all printer drivers via Windows Update. But the only drivers to match this printer series is model 1500s and 1600s. Any ideas?

Hello @Bebanban ,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Follow these installation instructions: Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver
The printer is no longer the youngest.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Andreas

I've tried that but what driver am I supposed to choose from the windows update list? There is hundreds of HP drivers there but my model is not on the list. I'm still stuck with this driver and my printer is still an unidentified device.

The Driver PSC 900 Series is OK.
Read this installation instructions here: USB Printer Setup (Windows) .
