@MEWCO, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printing Issues with the HP Photosmart 7510!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Photosmart 7510 printer only prints the top part of documents, you can follow several steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Step 1: Use Genuine HP Ink Cartridges

HP recommends using genuine HP ink or toner supplies as non-HP or refilled cartridges can cause print quality issues. Ensure that your cartridges are compatible and filled.

Step 2: Check Ink Levels

  1. From the home screen of the printer control panel, touch the Ink icon.
  2. Ensure none of the ink cartridges are critically low or empty. If they are, replace the low or empty cartridges with genuine HP ink cartridges.

Step 3: Replace Low or Empty Ink Cartridges

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Open the ink cartridge access door and wait until the carriage moves to the access area.
  3. Replace any low or empty ink cartridges. Ensure they are properly installed and seated correctly in their slots.
  4. Close the ink cartridge access door.

Step 4: Make Sure Ink Cartridges are Properly Vented and Seated

  1. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  2. Remove each ink cartridge and inspect the vent area on the top for any obstructions.
  3. Clean any clogged vent with a pin if necessary.
  4. Reinsert the ink cartridges and ensure they snap firmly into place.

Step 5: Clean the Printhead

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.
  2. On the printer control panel, touch the Setup icon, then touch Tools.
  3. Touch Clean Cartridges to use the automated tool to clean the printhead.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
