Hello

I have posted over the last several weeks an issue with this HP Photosmart B8550 printer.

I have a new print head, new ink cartridges, new ac power adapter.

What happens is that the printer keeps shutting down once the printer is sent a command like alignment, a print job, and so forth. The printer simply shuts down. The support over the last several weeks is extensive however the printer, like new, hardly used, keeps shutting down.

Is there a method to do a hard reset on this printer? I have done in tools factory reset a few times (printer shuts down after reset....) obviously this printer is in working condition the printer needs to be 'adjusted' somehow and that it the predicament.  Possibly a force hard reset is an option. How is this done? What buttons to I hold done to do this?

Thanks !
