Mac Pro (mid 2010) macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H2)
HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One Printer - C410a
Connected to Mac Pro via USB (network ceased to function after Catalina upgrade, but USB still worked)
It used to print & scan when I used macOS 10.14 Mojave. I upgraded to Catalina and I was able to scan. I bought new ink and tried to print for the first time using this macOS, but it wouldn't connect to printer.
I deleted the printer from System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and tried to add it back in.
I removed the printer profiles from Library > Printers
Error message = No Printers are available.
I put the printer profiles back into the Library > Printers
No printer shows up.
I cannot scan nor print.
What can I do to make my Mac see the printer?
Any help would be appreciated,
Mike

I found this on-line answer, talking about "certificates being revoked": https://www.theregister.com/2020/10/23/hp_printer_macos/
The printer just won't work w/ Catalina or above.
Off to buy a new one!
Thanks HP!
