HP Photosmart C4580

We bought a few years ago this printer HP Photosmart C4580.

We never had problems until the last time we changed the printer cartridges. We immediately got the message that the printer cartridges were missing or defective.

I did some research and found that the problem could be with the printer cartridges, so I ordered a new pair of HP printer cartridges (HP 350 and HP 351). I installed them now but immediately got again this message that the printer cartridge is missing or defective.

I now spent already €100 on these printer cartridges and cannot use them.

Can someone please give me an answer asap?

I need to know if the printer is broken.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

If you insert your old cartridges too, you get the error message, correct?
