HP Envy 17
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After I updated to 5.6.1 version of Print and scan doctor it stopped working on both of my computers (both are HP envy, Windows 10 (64x) It permanently shows a message that in order to use it I need admin permission, however, I am logged in as an admin. If I reinstall the software it might work only once and on the next startup, it shows the same message.

I can not find any solution to the problem.

Please let us know which printer do you have?

Thanks 🙂

the new version 5.6.2.008 works.

you can mark to solved.

But the problem to install the new HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 wide AIO is still not solved. (fails at the end of setup and then "no driver available" is written to the printer in the Device-List.

Separate posts.
