@x19driver, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The error code 0x800f020b typically indicates a problem with the installation process of your HP printer update. It’s often related to issues like missing or corrupt files, compatibility problems, or even conflicts between the update and your system settings.

Check for Windows Updates

  • Sometimes, system updates can affect the installation of printer drivers or updates. Make sure your system is fully updated.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and click Check for updates. Install any pending updates and restart your computer if needed.

Run the HP Printer Troubleshooter

  • Windows has a built-in troubleshooter for printers that may help identify and fix any issues with the printer or driver installation.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Select Printer and then click Run the troubleshooter.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and see if it detects any issues with your printer.

Manually Uninstall and Reinstall the Printer Drivers

  • There might be a conflict with the existing printer drivers. To address this, you can manually uninstall and then reinstall the printer drivers:

Uninstall the Printer Driver:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP printer and select Remove device.
  • Also go to Device Manager (press Windows + X and select Device Manager), expand Print Queues, and uninstall any remaining printer drivers.

Reinstall the Printer:

  • Visit the HP Support website for your printer model and download the latest printer drivers.
  • Install the drivers and check if the update works afterward.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue
