HP OfficeJet Pro 9025
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 is currently connected to my laptop via a USB cable.  I decided to convert from the USB connection to the WIFI connection.  Using the HP Printer Assistant Software to change the connection type I found that it possible for HP Printer Assistant to detect and show my wireless password even though access to my WIFI router is password protected.  How is this possible?

Welcome to HP support community.

Printer assistant will collect all the details from computer to connect the printer to WiFi that is why it is showing the password.

You can refer this HP document for more assistance:- Click here

I hope that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
