Hi,
My printer is not able to boot keeping stucked in a screen where it says "Verifying" with an infinite circle loop.
Reading multiple other chats and sources, I've tried all tips proposed but nothing worked.
It is ready for technician assistance but for the price, I am questionning if it is worth it? Maybe better to buy a new printer. However this one is only about 3 years old. Is it the HP expected duration for a printer?
Thanks
Leolo

Hi @Leolo14
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Here are a few points to consider regarding your situation:
Troubleshooting Steps
If you haven’t already, you might want to try a few more things before deciding on repair or replacement:
Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it, and wait for at least 60 seconds. Then plug it back in and turn it on.
Firmware Update:
- If you can access the printer's settings, check for any firmware updates. Sometimes, this can resolve ongoing issues.

Hi Raj2111,
As explained in my original post, I've tried this recipe you served to other users stucked with this same problem but no longer works for me.
It did work for a while, meaning this printer kept redoing the same loop after a successful reset and suddenly repeated its verifying loop. This time, the bugger doesn't want to play the reset game.
Any component I can uninstall to force a reset to factory default and then maybe I would be able to install latest driver? Not being able to access any menu, the reset to defalut is not even possible.
Thanks
Leolo
