Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer. After an HP App update, this printer will not connect to the app for functionality. It is out of warranty, so HP chat or phone support is no help. Why did the App update kick this printer (I have more than one within the app) out of the app and more importantly, how do I get it back on the app so I can actually use my printer?
