Product: HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

Just upgraded to the Telstra Gen 3 Smart Modem. My HP Photosmart 7520 printer will not connect to the WiFi network. While it finds the network, when I enter the correct password it gives an error message. Having searched the questions on this site it is a known issue and seems to be related to the modem being dual band. I have tried the suggested solutions - including changing the settings of the modem to split the bands - but nothing has worked. 

 

Any suggestions appreciated. However additionally I had been considering a new printer - in particular one of the HP Smart Tank ones given ink costs. However before I buy how do I know a new HP printer will not have the same problem?
