HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer

HP Officejet 9015 all-in-one printer. Tries to download some kind of software, posts an error message "HP Printer update could not be downloaded". Pressing "retry" does not work. I cancel and after a while it tries to do it again and gets stuck. In order to print, I have to clear it every time. I have looked at all the fixes and nothing seems to work. This just started a couple of days ago.

PLEASE HELP. I am beyond frustrated.

I have the same question with 9020 series. No support from HP available and I am beyond frustrated.

Same issue 9015 model. Started a few days ago and download reaches 100% then fails and retry will not work.

I also noticed this with my 9015 today. The download bar goes all the way to 100% then it says it could not download, if I press retry it stays at 0% until it times out. I have to unplug the printer to restart each time I want to use it.

When should we expect answers?  This is frustrating!!!!!

Same problem with 8035...someone needs to fix this

Same with 8020, need a fix!

Same for the 9025.  And this is a persistent issue for HP.  Just stop updating until you can make it seamless for the user.  I havbe my own work to do.  I just do not have time to do your job as well.

It seems like we are all having the same problems with our HP Officejet 9010 to 9015 All-In-One series printers.  I have tried everything to stop it from doing an update.  I have even tried the  Community Support.  HP needs to fix the problem or replace the printers.

To get around this wile HP sit on their duff picking their collective nose, type in the printer's IP address in a browser window address bar. Ignore any warnings that might appear about an insecure page and get to what is the printer's home page.

Click the Setting tab at the top

Click the Security option ion the left window

Click the Administrator settings

Scroll all the way to the bottom

Deselect All Firmware Updates

Done.

Now, this might impact future ink orders and whatever but'll get you past this bloody updating nonsense untie they (HP) fix it.

Good luck.
