Thank you. Re-installing system was my choice, but owner of the PC did not want to do that. For me it is hard to manually find the bad driver, because it is not my computer. Let see, hopefully I will get some luck on this issue. Thank you for brief answer

The issue I have found with this is there are two print drivers. Both are necessary because they serve different functions. One print driver, named as [Name of the printer] is for communicating with the HP software. This was true for the full solution driver for the HP LaserJet Pro MFP m426fdw. This is the driver which installs by default. Once you have installed the default driver in Windows 10, go to Cortana search in the Taskbar and search for printer, and select Printers and Scanners. From there, click the "Add a Printer or Scanner" button, and you should find a driver which starts with "NPI". This is the driver for all of the other software in Windows. Now attempt to print a word doc or a PDF and it should print.
The reason I know the default driver is used by HP software is when attempting to setup a fax through the HP software, the "NPI" driver is a selection but HP will throw a device error when it is selected, so you must choose the default driver.

Mpatton,
Thank you so much for leading me to the right answer. The "NPI MULTIFUNCTION, etc" was the driver needed. The only difference for me with respect to your solution was that when doing "add printer of scanner" the NPI driver wouldn't show up until I removed the HP Color Laser Jet that I had already installed but wasn't printing.
Now everything is fine. I wonder why not more people are having this same problem.
5 hours to install a printer, but finally it is done!
Thank you!
Michael
