I have an older Mac that works great. When HP Smart did the last update, my scan feature is not working and my system will not allow me to update to the latest version. Can you provide me with a link is that I can use my scan feature? Also has anyone else experienced this issue?

Which printer are you using?

 

Mac OS 10.13 is called "High Sierra"  (June 2018)

Eventually, even your browsers aren't going to work on that older operating system.

 

FYI: The SCAN option from the printer driver in System Preferences will not work.

You have to use the SCAN function from HP SMART from now on.

 

If that is not working, I would suggest that you check the printer's firmware and consider updating it.

Most of the newer printers do this automatically, but you may need to download a the latest firmware and install it manually.

 

Also, as a Mac user, you might want to try IMAGE CAPTURE from the Applications on your Mac.
