Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I've lost all access to my HP printers for printing and scanning, and am getting warnings that "HP Scanner will damage your computer" and a host of similar messages for any HP functionality. Downloading updated drivers does not solve the problem.

Is HP asleep at the wheel again? Without certificates, MacOS thinks HP software is a foreign invaders and cuts off any connections. HELP!!! Is anybody at HP going to fix this?

I downloaded the drivers from HP, (aug 2020 version)  My mac suggested the certificate expired 10/24/20, I installed anyway and the scanner now works on C5550.   Good Luck.
