Hi,
I installed the HP Smart App on my old laptop quite some time back. I have gone to download and install onto my newer laptop.
I see the application on MS Store, but when downloading i get the error "Code: 0x80240439".
I've checked the HP website, to see if i can download directly from HP, but all the pages i have found simply circle back to the MS Store website!
Anyone know what the error code means or where i can download the app from?
thanks

@ChrisJ2, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
Yes, you will have to download this app from the MS Store. Check for any pending Windows update on the computer.
Also, check if you are able to download any other apps.
Try again at a different time.
Click here to download and know more about the app.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Thank you, but sorry to say, that your solution is of no use, still returns the same error. I will try and see what MS say about this in general.
Until then, is there anywhere else that i can download the install set from?

Did you try downloading a different app to check if that works?
This error could be due to corrupted Windows files, broken windows updates, incomplete install of Windows Upgrade. It is an issue with the Microsoft Store and not the HP Smart app.
Yes, you may contact Microsoft regarding the same.
For now, click here to download the HP Full-feature driver instead of HP Smart app
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.
