Hello,
HP smart does not recognise my printer (Deskjet 2722e All-in-One Printer) pin code while doing a new set up.
The first set up (in summer after have purchased the printer) was successful.
Recently, for unknown reason, I could not connect anymore the printer to HP Smart.
I did uninstall / install HP smart and did a new set up for the same printer.
I can now connect the printer with HP Smart but cannot set it up, as the PIN Code written on the printer, looks be now invalid (message "PIN code invalid" pops up)
Could someone from HP Team create and send me a new PIN Code ?
I've seen a post on the forum about the same issue, which looks be solved by now ( By Betty0610 on the 01-29-2022 08:46 AM, topic raised by Audun1)
Thanks in advance
Thibault

Hi @Thibault_29,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
