HP LaserJet Pro MFP M28w Printer

First off, performed a hard reset on the printer and got it back to default settings. Next, I downloaded the HP Smart App and installed it on Android 13 on a Samsung Galaxy S23. The app does not find the printer until I click the "Try another way" button. Even once it finds it, the app can't seem to detect any Wi-Fi networks. Wifi on my device is already connected (I have both 2.4 and 5g networks enabled).

After getting frustrated that the printer wouldn't connect, I used a Chromebook, which couldn't detect the printer at all. Finally, I used my wife's old Windows 10 computer which connected and setup the printer properly. Even after installing, the printer still doesn't show up under "my printers" on my HP account.

I ran the setup on my android device again and selected install a previously setup printer, and it instantly found the printer. But now, when I load the Smart app on my Android device, it says "Some features not available."

I see a lot of issues here with the HP Smart App that need to be addressed, first being the issue of not being able to set it up with a recent Android or Chromebook. We won't have this Windows PC for much longer, how will we then configure our printer if we get new phones?

Since this post, we got a new router that has combined 24g/5g. The issue still remains, Android and Chromebook cannot detect Wi-Fi networks to finish setting up the printer.
