Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Bought a Desjet 2755e, tried setting it up by trying to install HP Smart, app installation stops with C0000022, help online sucks big time, got led to a ajent that said for $199 he would fix it. HP Smart is a poor excuse for a program. The last agent (Lisa) didn't answer back and the she termated the chat on me, leaving me hanging before she just turned off the chat. About to box the printer up and return it and never by another HP product again.

Compatibility Check: Ensure that your computer meets the system requirements for HP Smart. Check if there are any updates for your operating system.

 

Antivirus/Firewall: Disable your antivirus and firewall temporarily and try reinstalling HP Smart. Sometimes, security software can interfere with installations.

 

Clean Installation: Uninstall HP Smart completely, restart your computer, and then try reinstalling it. Make sure to download the latest version from the official HP website.

 

Driver Installation: Check if the printer drivers are installed correctly. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website specific to your printer model.
