HP Smart Tank 5100 stopped after installing Windows update

Hi, I have HP Smart Tank 5100 series printer. It was printing well and I loved it. Then I installed Windows 11 updates and it either removed or corrupted the printer driver. I have done everything I could think of to fix the printer driver but my laptop still says, "Driver not found". Someone please help.

Thank you so much for your help. However, Windows still does not allow to either install or recognize the printer driver. Its not a printer issue, it is a Windows 11 issue. Windows is missing:

• Print Management Console

• Internet Printing Client

• Microsoft XPS Document Writer

Ok, so maybe you need to run a system repair in your Windows 11 or reinstall windows.

Thanks for your help. I actually had to reinstall Windows 11 four times to be able to install the driver for this printer - imagine that. The fourth time, I reinstalled Windows with my Wifi turned off because Windows was getting old corrupted configuration from my MS Account. Now, I am able to print, thanks goodness. I just have to repeat this process my other two laptops now 😞
IOI spent probably 15 hours over 5 days time to fix this issue.  never thought Windows can make your life so difficult.

but at the same time is good to know that you already installed driver for printer and now is solved !
