HP Smart Tank 529 All-in-One Printer

I’m using an HP Smart Tank 529 printer, which doesn’t have Wi-Fi connectivity. I’m trying to connect it to my MacBook Air M2 (running macOS Sequoia 15.3.2) via a wired USB connection, but my MacBook is not detecting the printer.

I’ve downloaded and tried installing multiple drivers from the official HP website, but none of them seem to be compatible with my current macOS version or the M2 chip as the driver files crashed when I tried to install.

Could you please help me with the correct drivers or steps to get this printer working on my Mac?

Thanks in advance!

@Sayon2107, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

HP Smart Tank 529 All-in-One Printer supports up to macOS 13.

You can however, use Airprint - About AirPrint - Apple Support
AirPrint is a built-in printing solution for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. You can print from most apps that have a print feature.

You may also refer to this document: HP Products - My operating system is not listed on HP Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
