HP Smart Tank 7600 Fax Connect to Fritzbox Cable does not work

Hi community.

I have tried to connect my new HP Smart Tank 7600 with the telephone cable to my fritzbox cable 6591 to FON 1 as it was before working with my HP Officejet Pro 8500 to use the fax function, but there seems to be no connection to the analog phone line. Also the the LED for Fone goes out after a minute at the Fritzbox. Do I need a new or other telephone cable for this printer type? I have tried it several times with different setups, but it does not help. Any idea how to solve the missing connection would be welcome. Thanks Andrea

Thanks for the answer, but the problem is solved now. The printer has several phone ports on the back which are not clearly marked which one is which. So I tried another port now and see it works fine. For you as a HP employer you should point out to your guide designers, that a little picture in the manual would clearly help fo identify the right port to connect the printer for the fax funtion. Anyway here is an image of correct and wrong phone ports
