HP Smart Tank 790 All-in-One

Hi Team,

I tried to update the firmware of HP Smart Tank 790 series printer through offline firmware installer update version 003.2423C (HP_ST790_ST7600_2423C.exe - Release date : July 2, 2024), but it displays error code 8AF30001 and asked to restart the printer. 

Post restarting it always displays the same error code but printer is not powering ON after that.

Please suggest necessary steps to resolve this critical issue.

unplug from wall.  if cable has a transformer then unplug from printer

wait 60 seconds then plug back in 

 

----

 

try to reflash the firmware

The attached Amazon links steps (8AF30001) were useful and able to resolve my issue. Printer is now back to normal.
