Hi everybody.
The solution in this link is not solution at all. What mysterious "some third-party software" did pwshi use?
I still have "Printer status unknown" problem. I've run Doctor several times, reinstalled and updated HP-smart. No result. I can print but Can't scan.
I'll appreciate any help. I didn't find any logs in Program Files. Is there any?

Welcome to HP support community.
This might require remote access of the computer to fix the issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
