HP Smart app is all in German - how do I get the English version?

Is there any way I can reinstall the HP Smart app without having to reinstall the whole printer package again?

Here are the options to remove the HP Smart app without uninstall the printer driver package:

1. Open the Start menu.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click System on the Settings menu.
4. Select Apps & features from the left pane. 
5. A list of all installed apps appears in the right pane.
6. Select an app you wish to uninstall. 
7. Click the Uninstall button that appears. 
8. Click the Uninstall pop-up button to confirm.

How do I install just the App. without re-installing the entire printer package? I cannot understand why everything else is in English and just this one element is in German.

I am not satisfied with your response and would like to escalate it to somebody who can help.

The steps I provided above was to remove only the app from your PC. Those steps will only uninstall the HP Smart app. Once uninstalled, you can go to the Windows Store and install the HP Smart app if needed.

(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.

(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

OK I had the same problem with Hebrew. And this is how I solved it.

1 Uninstall HP Smart APP

2 Go to your windows language settings and remove German and probably any other non English language too.

3 You now have English as the only language on your computer.

4 Re install HP Smart from the App store and try it

5 It should now be in English

6 Go back to languages and get back your German or whatever else.

7 HP Smart should still be in English
