HP Smart app just stopped working. After I click on “Scan” it spins and spins telling me to login on web browser. I login to HP, but nothing happens. It continues spinning. So, what it says while sitting there spinning for an eternity is:
(Start message:) "Find the open browser window, then sign in to your HP account. Note: The window might be behind another open browser or minimized." (End message)
I have logged in multiple times, trashed and reinstalled the HP Smart app a multitude of times. Restarted my iMac and the printer several times. I set up WiFi again. I've tried using Safari AND Google Chrome to sign in umpteen times. I have no problem singing in to HP.COM, but it does no good.
NOTHING WORKS! If I select “SCAN” it never gets past the error message. Please help! I'm a designer and have to be able to scan! Thank you to everyone!!
