Hi @NS671,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing issues with the HP Smart app not loading on Windows 11, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
-
Check System Requirements: Ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the HP Smart app. Make sure that your Windows 11 is up to date with the latest updates.
-
Reinstall HP Smart: Uninstall the HP Smart app from your computer and then reinstall it. To uninstall the app, go to "Settings" > "Apps" > select HP Smart > click "Uninstall." After uninstalling, download the latest version of the HP Smart app from the official HP website and install it.
-
Run as Administrator: Right-click on the HP Smart app shortcut and select "Run as administrator." This can help to ensure that the app has the necessary permissions to run properly.
-
Compatibility Mode: Right-click on the HP Smart app shortcut, go to "Properties," and navigate to the "Compatibility" tab. Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select an earlier version of Windows (e.g., Windows 10). Click "Apply" and then try running the app again.
-
Antivirus and Firewall Settings: Your antivirus or firewall settings might be blocking the HP Smart app. Check your security software settings and make sure that the HP Smart app is allowed. You may need to add an exception for the app.
-
Check for Windows Updates: Make sure that your Windows 11 operating system is fully updated. Sometimes, issues with applications can be resolved by installing the latest Windows updates.
-
Driver Updates: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the official HP website. Updated drivers can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.
Remember to restart your computer after making changes or updates to ensure that the changes take effect.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Cannot download HP Smart for Windows 11 system from Microsoft Store. Error code 0x80073CFB. I have passed the first three levels of MS Support and they cannot find the problem. Is this a widespread issue for HP users because of a disconnection between the MS store and the HP servers? My next step appears to be a complete wipe of the computer and reinstall of Windows, and I do not want to do that.
