Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer

I have installed the HP smart software, but it fails to detect the printer when  attempt to add it. The printer is on the same network (I can ping is ok). It has been successfully added as a printer by using the add printer option in the control panel, and I can print to it. I have restarted the router and printer, but the HP Smart software still does not detect any printers.
