I have a HP 415 printer. I cannot scan.  I tried reinstalling HP Smart multiple times,  when I log in its always stuck  in "Thanks for waiting..." I do not find it sensible to force me to login the broken HP smart app so I can scan. I used HP printers/scanner for a long time but  the interface now is terrible. I regret I bought this printer total waste of time and money!

I have the same issue and what's funny about that.. I had the same problems with HP Smart like 2 years ago.

The HP Smart software is totally useless for my Windows 11 machine unless you like to watch a spinning arrow and wait, and wait, and wait ,,, Forever. HP Smart is totally useless.

I just worked through this with the support team.  I am on Mac OS.  I had to set my default browser to Safari to resolve the issue.  When you click the 'sign in' button, it launches a pop-up window to enter your credentials that apparently only works with Safari through the app.
