I have never had a problem using HP Smart on my laptop.   I was always able to scan, print etc using the ap.  Since I downloaded the app to my laptop after reinstalling windows, the app is requiring i sign in to HP each time to use the app.  Normally I would only need to sign in if I was changing the printer settings via the app.  Any idea on how to remain logged on for normal use, not chaning settings?

Hi! Does the app home page show you as signed-in? If so, you will see your initials in the circle in the upper left corner. If not, you will just see a person icon there.

When you say the the app is requiring you to sign-in to use the app, I'd like to confirm that you click the Scan or Print tile and then you are prompted to Create Account or Sign-in?

Finally, can you verify that your pc's date and time are set correctly in Settings?

Thanks!

I work for HP.
