HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One

Printer worked fine. I had a power outage and now my Printer won't power on. I've tried all of the trouble shooting tips I can find. Please help!

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

  • Ensure the power outlet is working by testing it with another device. Try a different outlet just in case.
  • If the printer was plugged into a surge protector or power strip, plug it directly into the wall outlet.
  • Perform a Hard Reset
    • Unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall.
    • Hold the power button on the printer for 30 seconds to drain any residual charge.
    • Wait 2-3 minutes, then plug the power cord back into the wall first, then the printer.
  • Look for any damage or loose connections. If you have another compatible power adapter, try using it.
  • If absolutely nothing works, the internal power supply might have been damaged by the outage, and it may need repair or replacement.
