Does anyone know how to remove a printer from the HP Smart app? I have recently replaced 2 old printers with a new printer but can’t find anyway to remove the old printers!

Welcome to the HP User Community.

The following might work..

Read / Try / Consider

If a printer is "still around", that is, possibly connected but unwanted in the App,

Generally,

Open  HP Smart > Settings > Section Manage >"Hide Printer" to remove that printer from the application.

This is generally used if a printer stops working as expected.

Removing a printer that is no longer connected - and will not be connected again - might be tricky.

One thing that might help:

Uninstall the HP Smart app and leave the app uninstalled while you pursue other means of getting rid of the instances of the unwanted printer.

Read the following, including the parts about the Dashboard and removing devices from your Dashboard "My Devices" list.

Notes:

  • Log into your HP Account if / when you need central access to your device information, including the ability to update your personal  information.
  • Printers ever subscribed to Instant Ink might resist being removed and will remain in the list.  If this describes one of your printers, ignore the printer and move on - you might never get rid of the reference.
