HP Solutions Center no longer provides any info about ink levels or anything else, because of an issue caused by discontinuation of Adobe Flash Player. Is there a software/driver solution to this issue?

Answer
Essentially, No.
There is no software / driver solution.
The main startup menu in Solution Center depended on Flash and Flash is gone.
Not sure if anyone has found a way to sneak a look at the ink levels.
Keep searching, I guess - if someone found a way, they might have posted it somewhere.

For those reading...
Assuming the printing software is still installed...
Printing from other software might still work (for example, from Word).
Scanning is not a problem.
The software - except for the startup / main menu - still works.
Scan using HP Scan called from the bin location OR use other various scan programs / software.
Start Scan using HP Scan executable
You might be able to simply start HP Scan / Scan using the program executable.
For example:
The old Solution Center Scan software is located in "Digital Imaging"
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\
OR
C:\Program Files\HP\Digital Imaging\bin\
Find and Double-Click on scan File name / executable to start HP Scan
For example:
hpiscnapp.exe
OR
hpqkygrp.exe
If available,
Right-Click on the executable and Send to > Desktop to create a shortcut.
HP Scan Extended
- Download-Save-Install
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
- HPSE is a subset an older Full Feature Software suite.
- HPSE features are very similar to the HP Scan Software released after 2015.
- Although HPSE appears to be a separate software, HPSE is dependent on the infrastructure provided by the Full Feature Software (full driver). The Full Feature Software for your printer should be installed before installing and using HPSE.
- OPTIONAL: Add HP Scan Extended shortcut to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start
- Open File Explorer > Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Scan Extended\bin
- Right-Click HPScan.exe > Select Pin to Taskbar
- Right-Click HPScan.exe > Select Send to Desktop (Create a Shortcut)
- Right-Click HPScan.exe > Select Pin to Start
- OPTIONAL: Add HP Scan Extended shortcut to Taskbar / Send to Desktop / Pin to Start
- HP Scan Extended features include (and are not limited to): Single, Multiple scans, Image and PDF scans, Email as PDF / JPEG, Source selection, Page Size choices include Auto-Detect (extracts image / document boundary). Might include OCR (Save as Editable Text).
What else?
There are additional Scan options available in Windows 10 - some of these do require that the Full Feature Software / full driver is (already) installed.
NOTE: Your printer might not support EWS / Webscan - left in as FYI to those reading...
Webscan – located in the Embedded Web Server (EWS) – No additional software
NOTE: Webscan feature is not available on Laser printers
If the printer is on the network,
If the EWS feature is available on your printer,
First Time Use Only: Enable Webscan
- Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
- Tab Settings > Security > Administrator Settings > Enable >> Check box next to Webscan
- Click Apply to save any changes
Use Webscan
- Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
- Tab Scan > Webscan
- Set up Webscan the way you want it - for example, set the Source to ADF
- Click Start Scan to scan your document / image using Webscan
- After the scan is complete, Save the scan to your computer.
