HP Start cannot find printer software for macOS Sequoia 15.0

HI! 

I was attempting to do what you advised. After the installer was downlaoded, I attempted to continue installing the printer drivers - and this error msg popped up 'The update requires macOS version 15.0 or earlier", mind you this was after I  installed the updated my operating system to OS Sequoia. 

I don't know what to do and I have exhausted all options. My printer that I am trying to set up is the HP Deskjet 2725.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @RDas2025 

For a Deskjet 2725  try to install with a USB cable.

1. Connect your printer with USB cable.

• 

2. Then you can install the software needed for Mac:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.

Unfortunately, this is a known bug. I appreciate @ferRx's attempt to assist us, but AFAIK, this is a massive problem that Apple has for those of us with HP products. I tried the solution ferRX suggested, and the Easy Start software sees my printer, but it then reports that there are no drivers. My Laserjet is currently being used as a hat stand. ::insert failhorn here::

Your suggestions did not work for me... HP Start didn't even detect the printer I was trying to install! Frustrated like no other.. exploring other brands that should be more compatible to OS Sequoia..
