HP Envy 5640

I currently use an old HP Pavilion laptop wirelessly connected to my (newer) HP Envy 5640 printer.  The laptop has HP Support Assistant on it for help with printer software updates, scanning fixes etc.  I am moving to a MacBook air which has air print capability to print on the HP Envy printer but how do I get HP Support Assistant on the MacBook Air to continue to be able to maintain & fix the printer should I need to?  Thanks for help.

Hi,

The HP Support Assistant is available for Windows PCs only.

You should use HP Smart to operate your printer from a Mac computer:
