I just upgraded from my old, intel base iMac to the new M3 based iMac. My graphics program of choice is CorelDraw, which I run on Windows via Parallels on the iMac. I have an HP Laserjet M712 printer that I use for film output for screen printing. On my old system, I was using the HP Universal PS driver v7.0 to print seps with halftones using the specified PPD. The new. iMac uses the ARM based M3 chip. After several calls to hp support and no solution, Parallels support suggested that the HP PS driver is not compatible with an ARM based system. The HP PS drivers give me an error message when trying to install. I can install the PCL 6 driver, but it does not support the features I need for output.
Anyone have any luck in finding an HP Postscript driver that works with an ARM system...or any workaround?
Thanks!
