Same problem with Laserjet 4200. This has completely shut my office down since Thursday.

It seems the update was made. Remove the printer and install again. Here worked finally!

Thanks for figuring this out. HP, please fix!  I have 3 printers in business I can no longer use.

Like Paulow said and I was reading other places this morning it does work. Though when I downloaded the drivers I still received a message that the certificate was expired. Do any of you more technically proficient people know if this means we will run into this problem again anytime soon?

Use this - it has worked for many:  ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essentials-S-5_14_8_4.pkg

Download and install then reset printer

Even with this driver I get a warning during installation that "HPDM.framework" will damage my computer. This message appears again and again until you close the installer manually. I already removed the printer manually yesterday and now at least the printer runs via AirPrint. But scanning is not possible with the same error message. Yesterday before the installation the error message still referred to "Inject3".

A temporary solution until HP fixes the driver which worked on all my Mac systems.   Install/create a new printer queue, but instead of using  the  Mac included HP drivers, select  a Generic PostScript Printer.  This gets the printer working again, but not all the HP custom options .

Looks they fixed it. I went to setting/printers and did 'Reset printing system', then opened /Library/Printers and removed hp folder and all 'HP...' files in PPDs folder.

Then I clicked on + in settings/printers and selected my HP OfficeJet J4660 printer. Drivers were downloaded and installed by system.

Restarted and printing and scanning works again!

As I posted a few minutes ago, I happened to try printing something, and it worked.  I just tried scanning something, and that worked, too.  Yay!  Thanks for your update as well.
