Finally working for me too, but I had to do what Krunoslav said:
"I went to setting/printers and did 'Reset printing system', then opened /Library/Printers and removed hp folder and all 'HP...' files in PPDs folder.
Then I clicked on + in settings/printers and selected my HP OfficeJet J4660 printer. Drivers were downloaded and installed by system."
I did this and when I was adding the printer, I got a notification saying I had a software update, it downloaded and it's finally working again as usual.

iMac 10.14.6 and HP Deskjet 6940 printer started failing in HP Utility.app with "Termination Reason: Namespace CODESIGNING, Code 0x1"
I first reset printing to delete the Deskjet 6940. Then ran ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-essentials-S-5_14_8_4.pkg . And reinstalled the Deskjet printer.
Printing via network from iMac connected to WiFi router by ethernet cable to the Deskjet also connected by ethernet to the same router worked. The printer is shared and a MacBook Air is able to also print again via WiFi.
Thanks HP for causing a working two Mac networked printing setup to go belly-up.

Resetting the printing system (right-click in the printer settings window to bring up a context menu), then deleting the HP files in Library/Printers and Library/Printers/PPDs, then adding the printer back solved the problem. Printing works again to my HP Deskjet 460 via USB and Bluetooth.

Holy crap...I downloaded the drivers and now I have numerous popups that say it's malware.
PLEASE FIX THIS HP!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not us-it's YOU!
I can print- but it's a pain in the neck to get all these popups and it is not smooth.
Thank goodness my 54" HP latex wasn't affected-but I did not upgrade that computer yet.
Geez

Thanks to Krunoslav for the advice, I deleted all HP files, redownloaded the drivers and added the printer. I had to do Show Certificate and insist that my Mac trust all of the expired certificates but it's printing and scanning again. Glad to be able to function again after THREE DAYS but cannot believe that HP remained silent throughout this whole fiasco. Worst customer service I've ever seen.

I am sorry for begin such a novice, but how do you access Library/Printers to delete the files? I can't see it in my finder and I'm not sure how to navigate this. I have tried resetting the system and downloading the new software but nothing works for me. I have a HP Photosmart C4500. I am still getting error messages about my computer being damaged.

Thank you for posting the link @Krunoslav.
I wasn't trying it out, did it by hand, but I was wondering what a user will do who is not a developer / IT guy. This is simply a joke that HP/Apple doesn't provide a tool to fix this **bleep** issue easily without putting the user into this situation. Unacceptable client-handling!!
