Hi @SRMontez,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If HP Web JetAdmin is failing to establish a secure connection on your Windows 11 system, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Step 1: Check Network Configuration
- Firewall Settings: Ensure that your Windows Firewall or any third-party firewall isn’t blocking HP Web JetAdmin. You may need to allow the application through the firewall.
- Network Connection: Make sure your computer is connected to the network and can access the printers managed by Web JetAdmin.
Step 2: Run as Administrator
- Right-click on the HP Web JetAdmin icon and select Run as Administrator. This can help with permission issues that may prevent it from establishing a secure connection.
Step 3: Update Web JetAdmin
- Ensure you are using the latest version of HP Web JetAdmin. Check the HP website for any available updates and install them.
Step 4: Clear Cache and Data
- Close HP Web JetAdmin.
- Navigate to the installation directory, usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\HP Web JetAdmin.
- Look for folders related to cache or temporary data and delete their contents.
Step 5: Check Java Version
- HP Web JetAdmin requires a specific version of Java. Ensure you have the appropriate version installed. You can download the latest version from the Oracle website.
Step 6: Disable VPN or Proxy
- If you are using a VPN or proxy, try disabling it temporarily to see if it resolves the connection issue.
Step 7: Check SSL Settings
- Go to the Web JetAdmin installation directory.
- Look for a configuration file (usually a .ini or .properties file) that may contain SSL settings.
- Ensure that SSL is enabled and correctly configured.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
