HP app keeps freezing and will not install printer

Had printer in box for probably 4 years and the old one died. App gives circle of death for install. Attempted restarting lap top and printer, uploaded driver update, no progress.

1. First install printer using your mobile phone, please follow steps from the next video:

2. Once you install printer on mobile phone, then go to install in your laptop.
